The Space and Intelligence Division provides professional services to the US Space Force, Combatant Commands, Intelligence Community, and NASA. Our work includes enterprise architectural assessments, systems engineering and integration, test, planning and execution, cost estimating and analysis, acquisition support, and cybersecurity. We are trusted partners developing approaches and concepts to meet emerging high priority needs, assessing cutting-edge technologies, and supporting capabilities for our National Defense. 

 

The Space Systems Group, part of the Systems Planning and Analysis , Inc.’s Space and Intelligence Division, provides timely and objective assessments and recommendations integrating technical, operational, programmatic, policy and business analysis. We focus on our key clients in the Space community including the US Space Force’s Space Systems Command (USSF/SSC), one of the three designated Field Commands under USSF. We work tirelessly to provide integrated solutions based on information and communications throughout the chain of command. We provide clear and consistent analysis and recommendations which are aligned to strategic and leadership goals while balancing the ability to execute on time and on budget within the technical communities. SPA has an immediate or near term need for a seasoned Senior Capture Manager  who wants to be part of SPA's fastest growing Division!

Abo ut the Position

As Senior Capture Manager, the successful candidate will report directly to the Chief Growth Officer and the Space & Intelligence Division Director to lead Federal growth activities for assigned markets, including opportunity identification, pipeline management, business development, solutions, capture management, and proposal development.

 

The Capture Manager will foster growth through strategic positioning, customer relations, and industry networks to develop market insights on requirements, acquisition strategy, acquisition timing, and contract vehicle choices to improve win rates. They will perform market research to include customer preferences, competitive analysis, and incumbent strengths and weaknesses. They will advise on teaming arrangements to bring the best capabilities to any competition.

 

The applicant must develop relationships with line staff, management, and business development peers across the company to provide coherent responses to RFIs, submit compelling white papers, and formulate persuasive proposals. They will identify opportunities that leverage company-wide capabilities and lead cross-divisional collaborative teams to pursue these opportunities. The successful applicant will create and deliver executive presentations for gate/capture approvals. They will lead proposals to include past performance, management, and technical volumes, basis of effort development, staffing plans, and price to win strategies. They will conduct after-action reviews for business opportunity capture participants to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to capture technique, strategy, and actions.
