Hourly Rate: $20 – $25 / DOE
Royal Rose is a produce company specializing in growing chicories in the Salinas and Yuma valley.
Royal Rose is looking for part time person who can help with our sales and the day-to-day needs of our office. This role is a great fit if you are passionate about people, have exceptional organizational skills and are passionate about the produce industry.
Responsibilities:
- General sales team support.
- Accurate order entry (including quantity, price, product, customer, ship to, delivery instructions and any special instructions) into our system and, if needed, the customer system, and to monitor status of orders up until confirmed received and/or cancelled.
- Provide sales support and customer service to existing customers while also acquiring new clientele.
- Cooperate with the office manager to ensure prompt collection of assigned account receivables, and ultimately responsible for the collection of all funds.
- Back up on daily AR/AP if needed.
- Provides backup as needed to Sales and office manager during their absence.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years in produce sales experience preferred.
- Excellent computer skills with knowledge of MS Office, Outlook, plus Famous Software experience.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to act independently and make competent decisions without supervision.
- Demonstrated integrity within a professional environment. Be trustworthy and discreet.
- Willingness to learn.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Available after hours (if needed)
