Position Summary/Description:

The Building Operations Liaison is the primary point of contact for facilities operations at Kenan-Flagler's Charlotte location. This position serves as the key relationship manager for both internal and external partners, including a vast array of contractors and vendors who provide services for the Charlotte facilities. This position maintains operational knowledge of the building and grounds, manages requests for housekeeping, maintenance, and other facilities services, and creates / manages requests to resolve issues as they arrive. The position also provides on-site support for events, and manages vendor payments and invoices as necessary.

Additionally, this position is the primary access coordinator for the site, handling all access and badging for the location. The position works closely with on-site security to ensure that only authorized guests and employees have access to the grounds, and reports any and all security concerns promptly. This position creates and manages operation manuals, security procedures, and works with Kenan-Flagler Facilities to maintain emergency protocols. The primary purpose of this position is to provide a clean, maintained, and safe place for staff and guests.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalency; or demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work.
