Job description
The Group Services Supervisor role at 1880 Boston Road Apartments located in the West Farms neighborhood of the Bronx, will be responsible for four core functions: to provide social work case management, to oversee all tenant and supportive services, to complete QA/QI assessment related to work plan and to create and maintain relationships within the supportive housing community.
The Group Services Supervisor leads the case management and wellness staff in the delivery of services to our tenants including planning, overseeing and supervising both individualized and group health, mental health and social services. Ensuring standards of service detailed in the work plan are achieved, maintained and developed as well as ensuring that the tenants receives services of the highest quality. The Group Services Supervisor should have an all-around sound knowledge of the day-to-day clinical operations of the department. The Group Services Supervisor will assume responsibility of the program in the absence of the Program Director
Master’s degree (MA/MS/MBA) or equivalent from four-year College or university preferred with a major in social work or in a related field with minimum of two years’ experience and/or training in providing services to the older adults population; or four to ten years related experience; and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience; At least 2 years supervisory experience in a supportive; Licensed by New York State (LMSW or MSW).
Compensation: $70,000 min. to $75,000 max. Annually
