Job description
A highly respected Orange County, California based Law Firm is seeking a savvy and resourceful Civil Litigation Paralegal/Legal Assistant for immediate hire. This role requires a Paralegal Certificate and 5 years of relevant legal experience. Tasks include, but are not limited to, initiating appeals in the court of appeals, trial preparation, deposition preparation, assisting in the discovery process, legal research via Westlaw, creating and filing subpoenas, service of process, etc. There will be a miniscule amount of administrative duties as well, such as creating shells, formatting briefs, TOA/TOC, etc. This role will start out as an onsite position during the introductory phase of employment and eventually transition into a hybrid role. Experience with the state and federal courts are a must.
