What You Will Be Doing
-Performing full life-cycle Contract Management for a large portfolio of high value contracts.
-Lead negotiations for major proposals within aerospace and engineering.
-Negotiate and administer NDAs
-Analyze and negotiate contracts received from the government and industry prime customers identifying areas of risk and developing negotiation strategies.
-Support functional areas such as, Business Development, Legal, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, Supply Chain and etc. by providing contract advice in support of proposals, agreements and other activities as required.
What You Need for this Position
- Active TS/SCI clearance required.
-Senior level Contract Management experienced working within Engineering and with Primes and Sub Primes. Aerospace is preferred industry.
- At least 8++ years of relevant experience as a Contract Manager within Aerospace/DoD on the industry side and engineering specialty rather than IT arena.
- Detailed and extensive knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements
- Experience working on industry side to/with government, and preferably aerospace and engineering as opposed to IT.
- Strong negotiating skills and experience governing relationships (Prime and Sub)
- Working knowledge and experience of FFP/FPIF/ CPAF/CPIF/CPFF/T&M and hybrid contract types
- Have demonstrated experience working both directly with the US government acquisition organizations as well as a supplier to the major aerospace prime contractors
- Working knowledge and experience of DPAS and Export Regulations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products as well as business systems (i.e. SAP)
