Job Description
Position Purpose:
The Marketing Intern will support programs managed by the Marketing Department and be responsible for assisting with marketing campaigns, list development, marketing content creation, database maintenance, communications, social media programs and event marketing.
Primary Duties/responsibilities:
- Administration of customer account creation for customer portal
- Coordinate trade show program: legal sponsorship forms; organization forms; booth scheduling with Ion; exhibit services management; etc.
- Update facility audit packages as needed; other updates as needed by Proposal support
- Slide deck creation and updates as needed
- Run monthly invoice/manifest reports for use in NPS surveys
- Receive and process invoices
- Assist technical resources to write a variety of sales collateral and/or brochures for a wide range of marketing uses
- Serve as team responsible for coordinating the display of graphics and the production of all assigned marketing documents
- Accomplish assigned tasks within established deadline and in an accurate manner
- Maintain accurate records and files
- Helps coordinate events including but not limited to technical seminars, and customer seminars, webinars
- Various administrative tasks
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education / Experience / Background:
- Junior or Senior Level pursuing a 4 year business or marketing degree.
- Experience with marketing or market research related to industrial markets (sustainability) preferred
- Some digital marketing experience is preferred.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze and solve problems
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Must be able to plan to allow time to handle unexpected situations quickly and effectively
- Must possess ability to work with employees at all levels of the organization and exemplary communication skills
- Flexibility to work remotely for the time being with possible time in the office
- Intermediate to advanced computer skill set; including Google products with heavy emphasis on Sheets, Gmail, Doc or other database software
- Is able to contribute to a website refresh including content creation/editing for downstream market pages
- Able to perform analysis of customer engagement and trends
- Data Analytics Skills and understanding of marketing metrics
- Research and market analysis skills
- Able to produce market opportunity reviews
- Industry and sector performance reporting
- Commercial knowledge of Oil and Gas/Energy Industry
- SEO Management
- Working knowledge of Salesforce
- Able to work 20 hrs/week
