Our client is a renowned, privately-held financial, software, data, and media company. They are actively seeking to hire a Senior Software Engineer to support the Productivity Team. The ideal candidate has extensive experience programming in C++, Linux/Unix, and excellent problem solving skills. This is a fantastic contract opportunity, and we are looking to fill the role as quickly as possible. Responsibilities: Developing different components of trading systems. Partner with internal end users to design and implement new features and enhancements. Participate in on-call rotations to help troubleshoot any issues that may come up during the trading day. Develop and integrate OMS (Order Management Systems) and EMS (Execution Management Systems) systems to the platform. Upgrade tools, databases, and legacy code. Qualifications: 5+ years of experience programming in C++ Excellent problem solving skills Knowledge of programming on Linux or Unix Previous Order Management System (OMS) experience Experience in large-scale project migrations Experience working on open source projects
