Travel + Leisure Co. is searching for a Visual & Motion Graphics Artist who is passionate about bringing clarity to complex concepts through innovative design. This person will support the world's leading membership and leisure travel company, along with other travel brands within our multi-billion-dollar global portfolio.
The
Visual & Motion Graphics Artist plays a crucial role throughout the creative process from ideation, execution and delivery. This person will build out full scale motion graphics assets from social media and web to broadcast. The Visual & Motion Graphics Artist must have proven motion graphics and visual implementation experience within all digital spaces from desktop to mobile. This position requires someone with optimal communication skills in order to articulate design rationale to team members and business stakeholders. How You'll Shine: - Ideate and work with Video Team in order to efficiently produce animations components, motion graphics kits and other gfx assets for all multimedia or video projects to be distributed across all social channels, internal and external video platforms and TV broadcast.
- Translate ideas into storyboards, mockups and/or animatics/prototypes.
- Convert client-provided PSDs, Vectors or Images into animated digital ads.
- Understand and execute various brand guidelines for the assigned work.
- Works closely with Brand Managers to support the execution of brand campaigns and creative deliverables.
- Strong collaboration with cross-functional brand team designers as needed.
- Demonstrates project management skills by seeing projects from concept through completion.
- Work with leads to implement best practices and department processes.
- Comfortably handle change requests and provide quick and efficient solutions.
What You'll Bring: - BFA in Multimedia Design, Motion Graphics or related degree and appropriate amount of professional experience.
- Active participation in brainstorming and ideation.
- Ability to present 'the strategic why' behind the creative and articulate the solve.
- Solid grasp in digital ads, social and video production process.
- Ability to self-manage time and meet expected deadlines, completing work on time and within the hours allocated.
- Ability to coordinate, prioritize, and accomplish multiple tasks in a fast-paced atmosphere with minimal supervision.
- Online portfolio or demo reel.
- Adobe Creative Suite – After Effects, Premier, Illustrator, Photoshop.
- Cinema 4D for VFX and Motion Graphics.
- Rotoscoping techniques (BORIS MOCHA).
- Nonlinear basic video editing.
- Proficient in vector animations and/or animated ads.
- Experience with DaVinci Resolve and Final Cut is a plus.
- Experience with sound editing tools like Audition is a plus.
- 10+ years of relevant experience in brand and digital design.
- Prior experience within travel & hospitality is a plus.
- Knowledge of marketing, all forms of advertising and digital experiences.
