Job description

If you are a Fire Sprinkler Designer with experience, please read on!

As our Fire Sprinkler Designer, the primary guideline for this position is to design fire sprinkler new construction, tenant finish, and renovation projects. Design and create shop drawings for fire sprinkler projects by interpreting contract drawings, specifications, construction hand-off documents from sales, Florida Fire Prevention Codes/Statutes, and any project meetings.

What You Will Be Doing

Design fire sprinkler systems
Review work order and procedural manuals
Calculate figures to convert design dimensions
Provide material list for fabrication
Attend project meetings when necessary

What You Need for this Position

5+ years experience in Fire Sprinkler construction and design
Wet Systems, Dry Systems, Preaction Systems, and Deluge Systems
HydraCAD or AutoSprink
Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat
Knowledge of NFPA 13, NFPA 20, NFPA 14, and NFPA 24
Certified NICET Level I or higher
