Job Title: Leisure Assistant

Location: Stamford Fitness, Borderville Sports Centre

Hours: Up to 10 hours per week (additional hours may be required based on business needs)

Salary: £11.90 plus holiday pay.

About Us: Stamford Fitness is a thriving fitness center located within the Borderville Sports Centre. We are seeking a passionate and motivated leisure assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the day-to-day running of our facility, contributing to our business objectives and enhancing our overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day activities and operations of Stamford Fitness.
• Develop and implement timelines to achieve business targets.
• Complete tasks assigned by management efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct fitness programs and inductions for members.
• Handle membership sales and administrative tasks related to existing members.
• Maintain accurate records of job-specific training and qualifications.
• Create a positive and inspiring working environment for the team.
• Meet membership sales targets set by management.
• Ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are upheld.
• Manage commercial bookings and oversee their delivery process.
• Collaborate with the Centre Manager and Group Commercial Manager on all aspects of business management.

• Enjoy teaching and sharing knowledge and skills with others.
• Organized and punctual with strong attention to detail.
• Confident and able to work well under pressure.
• Highly motivated and customer-focused.

Qualifications and Experience (ideal but not essential):

• First Aid or First Aid at Work certification.
• Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification
• Level 3 Personal Trainer certification.
• Previous experience working in a busy leisure environment.
• Understanding or experience in safeguarding practices.
