The Product Developer will be responsible for utilizing their engineering background to support the design and development team throughout the design process from research to product realization. This includes design, hand shaping of molds, creating product specification packages, communicating daily with staff and vendors for all areas of sampling and production (both written and verbal). Relaying all technical alterations and updating product and material specifications, managing sample shipments, and keeping track of product development and production process.
Job Duties:
· Develop 2D and 3D concepts and prototypes for new designs.
· Operate 3D scanner and 3D printer to produce prototypes and production quality tooling.
· Assist with processing tooling when necessary.
· Understand and incorporate design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partners.
· Identify opportunities for new products through trends and market research.
· Collaborate and suggest design modifications to existing methods and products.
· Perform testing and validation activities.
· Manage BOM and necessary tech pack revisions.
· Support all company initiatives as identified by management.
Qualifications:
· Strong experience in CAD (Solidworks & surface modeling a plus), 3D scanning and 3D printing.
· Highly organized, detail oriented and punctual.
· Ability to problem solve a variety of issues, while maintaining a solution-based approach.
· Ability to adapt to changing tasks.
· Able to work independently as well as in a collaborative environment.
· Positive and open approach to work and challenges.
· Industry knowledge of powersports (Motorcycles, Snowmobiles and ATV/UTV) preferred.

· Full-time, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, Mon-Fri
