What you can expect:

As a carpenter, you will install wire shelving, shower doors, mirrors, and bath/kitchen hardware in the home. Day-to-day tasks include:

Cutting wire shelving to size
Following shelving templates to pre-drill holes and fasten closet shelves to the wall
Installing shower door kits and custom shower doors
Measure and mount mirror(s) to the wall, ensuring they are level
Fasten and attach hardware to cabinets in kitchens and/or bathrooms
Mount towel racks and toilet paper holders to walls
Load/unload materials
Communicate directly with the customer/builder when necessary

To be successful:

1-3 years experience in the construction industry, completing remodels or finishing work within a home
Proficient in using hand and power tools
Familiar with inspector guidelines and safety precautions
Valid drivers license to drive a company vehicle

For your safety:

Walk throughout the residential job site to access materials and complete job tasks

Ascend/descend ladders to install shelving, mirrors, or hardware

Transport and lift materials up to 50 lbs
