This is a remote position.
Overview:
We are actively seeking Medical Students currently enrolled in an LCME accredited medical college to join our team as Remote Medical Student Assistants. This role is designed for those who are eager to gain handson telehealth experience under the professional supervision of Medical Doctors Physician Assistants and Registered Nurses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide vital support to our team of healthcare professionals in delivering telehealth services.
- Participate in patient consultations including conducting medical histories and assisting in initial assessments.
- Collaborate in the creation and updating of patient care plans under professional supervision.
- Help manage and interpret clinical data for healthcare providers.
- Engage in patient education and preventive healthcare initiatives.
- Work within a multidisciplinary team ensuring comprehensive care in a telehealth setting.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Current enrollment in an LCME accredited medical program. Transcripts to confirm enrollment will be requested
- A solid understanding of medical concepts and clinical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities proficient in telehealth technology use.
- Teamoriented with the ability to adapt to remote work environments.
