About This Role
Biogen is looking for a skilled and highly motivated mass spectrometry scientist to join our Bioassays and High-Throughput Screens (BHTS) group within the Biotherapeutics and Medicinal Sciences (BTMS) department in Cambridge, MA. This research fellow position will be an 18-month assignment. The BHTS mass spectrometry team provides expertise and utilizes the cutting-edge liquid chromatography-mass spectrometry (LC-MS) and high throughput MS platforms for robust and high throughput assays and screens for small molecule drug discovery. This position requires demonstrated experience in LC-MS techniques to support small molecule, intact protein (covalent binding) screens, and effectively work in a cross-functional environment to build successful partnerships across teams. The successful candidate will be an expert in the field of mass spectrometry and analytical chemistry with the implementation of these tools towards developing high throughput MS-based assays and screens.
