Come be a part of Heavenly Hands Early Learning Center! We are a small family oriented non-profit Christian all day year round child care learning center. We are looking for a preschool teacher to join our team of dedicated teachers. Duties and Responsibilities include the following and other duties may be assigned.
1. Plans and prepares lesson plans in accordance with guidelines on a monthly basis.
2. Oversees and facilitates the general safety of the classroom and its activities to include outside play.
3. Interacts with children through instructional methods to include play, music, arts and crafts, reading, faith formation, writing, science and physical activities.
4. Monitors talents, special abilities, disabilities, deficiencies or problems of each individual child, documents issues/concerns as needed.
5. Promotes and fosters each child's positive self-esteem and individual development toward fullest potential in the areas of physical, social, emotional and cognitive growth.
6. Establishes and maintains a positive relationship with all children, fellow staff and parents/guardians.
7. Assists children with personal care to include toileting, feeding and cleanliness needs in relation to age.
8. Attends trainings and staff meetings, and keeps up to date with continued education and clearances.
9. Performs general classroom cleaning duties as necessary.
10. Writes summaries of daily activities and provides parents/guardians with documentation via brightwheel.
11. Maintains accurate and current attendance records and other related paperwork.
12. Adheres to all established policies, procedures and code of ethics.
