SAIC is looking for a iOS/Android Developer to work on developing an app for NAVAIR Airworthiness electronic Flight Clearance (eFC) project. There are currently Android and iOS versions of the app. This role will be geared toward developing features and maintaining the apps.
An active Secret clearance is required . This position is based in California, MD but is open to remote candidates for the best fit!
Job Responsibilities:
- Ability to work with the agile process, which includes code reviews
- Ability to manage two work streams at once
- Work within Android and iOS systems
- Experience in Java, JavaScript, React/React Native, HTML, XSLT, SCSS, CSS
- Familiarity working in Android Studio, VS Code, and xCode
- Familiarity working with MySQL databases
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
- Apply forward thinking to suggest improvements to the processes, applications, and resulting products created by the project.
- Ability to think outside the box and generate solutions.
Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree and 0 years' experience.
Required Skills:
- Strong Understanding and proficiency in programming fundamentals
- Ability to manage two work streams at once
- Work within Android and iOS systems
- Proficient with Java, Objective-C or Swift
- Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, etc.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
- Apply forward thinking to suggest improvements to the processes, applications, and resulting products created by the project
- Ability to think outside the box and generate solutions
Required Clearance:
- Secret security clearance required to begin work.
Target salary range: $65,001 - $75,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
Covid Policy: SAIC does not require COVID-19 vaccinations or boosters. Customer site vaccination requirements must be followed when work is performed at a customer site.
