OPS Consulting is seeking an experienced
Supply Chain Manager to work in
Laurel, MD. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in Acquisition and DoD Supply Chain Management.
Job Description: - Assesses, designs, and develops end to end supply chain solutions to support strategic growth opportunities.
- Develops or assists in the development of supply chain plans or strategies, including researching and defining supply chain methodologies.
- Collects customer use and demand requirements as an input to evaluate and analyze supply chain networks, strategies, and desired performance.
- Tests and validates thresholds of the supply chain to develop alternative solutions, guardrails, and assess financial impact to support surge demand, increased forecasted requirements and unexpected downturns.
- Assists with iterative supply chain reviews during product development cycles with key team members and stakeholders to review risks, constraints, mitigation plans, and recommendations the ensure progress deliverables are on track and aligned with mission goals.
- Engages stakeholders to address and improve gaps within existing supply chains.
- Develops business cases to support recommended supply chain options that account for both known and unknown demand and assist with gaining executive sponsorship, funding, people and resources.
- Supports supply chain development.
- Performs manufacturer and supply inspections as required.
- Reviews and recommends material inspection processes as required. Familiar with material handling and shipping processes.
Required Experience: - At least eight (8) years of related experience to supply chain management
Desired Experience: - A bachelor’s degree in a related field. A master’s degree may be substituted for additional years of experience.
Security Clearance: - A current government clearance, background investigation, and polygraph are required.
