Description of working conditions

We are looking for employees who share our values of teamwork and collaboration, sharing ideas to improve processes and the guest experience, always doing the right thing, working hard and being dependable, and supporting our local communities.

We are able to interview and hire friend groups. We cannot hire couples.

Culinary Staff use knife skills to cut vegetables, fruits, meats and cheeses to specifications. Use
math skills and ability to accurately read English to follow recipes in making desserts, dressings,
soups, and sauces. Work quickly and speak proficient English to communicate with front of house
employees, peers, and guests in a fast-paced environment. Must follow safety policies and ensure
others do so as well.
Housekeeping Staff use organizational skills and attention to detail to clean hotel rooms,
condos, and homes. Frequently lift and carry 25 pounds while vacuuming, pushing supply cart, and
lifting mattress to remove sheets and then make the beds according to 5 star accommodations
policies and procedures. Deeply clean bathrooms and kitchens to include floors, sinks, toilets, and
showers. Must speak and read English to communicate with teammates as well as read checklists
and safety policies. Must follow safety policies and ensure that others do so as well.

Uniform / Dress code

Uniforms are provided. Each location provides the attire and tools that you will need to be a part of the team, identify you as a valued employee, and successfully meet the requirements of you position.

Working time

Work Hours: You should expect to work an average of 36 - 40 hours/week throughout the summer. Schedules are published, printed, and displayed two weeks in advance. Managers are happy to help you with your scheduling needs.

Work Start Dates: You should plan your U.S. arrival so you can begin working June 15 - June 16.

Work Finish Dates: We are looking for candidates who can finish working September 15 - September 30. You should be as upfront and honest as possible about your work finish date. It is customary in the U.S. to give at least two weeks notice of your final day of work.

Housing cost is $400 per month, per employee . Employees share three bedroom homes. Our homes are within walking distance to the beach. Some have an ocean or river view. All are set up with furniture, linens, and kitchen items. All houses are gender specific. Mos

Exchange Visitors are provided several guided cultural trips, including a trip to nearby Portland, Oregon for art museums, shopping, and music. Other activities include a beach bonfire and BBQ, kayaking, hiking, and surfing lessons. Your outdoor adventure awaits!
Cannon Beach, Oregon is known for its long stretches of sandy shores and tall outcropping of rocks. During low tide walk up to popular Haystack Rock which stands tall and proud. Enjoy sweeping views of the ocean, tide pools, wooded trails, sea caves and waterfalls that flow onto the beach.
