Job description

**Hematology/Oncology opening in Michigan**

* Located in ***Battle Creek*** -
* Full time, permanent
* M-F 8a-5p
* Employed opportunity
* 14-16 pts roughly / shift
* EPIC EMR
* Seeking a BC/BE Medical Oncologist/Hematologist to join its growing cancer program in southwest Michigan.
* Candidate will join a practice consisting of 3 other medical oncologists/hematologists, 2 radiation oncologists, 2 advanced practice providers, and multiple other clinical staff providing nurse navigation, survivorship, social work, nutritional support, and palliative care.
* This is a hospital-employed, mainly outpatient position with some inpatient consults working M-F, 8 am to 5 pm, with call shared equally with the other physicians in the team.
* New consults 1 hr, return appts 30 mins
* 9 office clinic exam rooms
* 19 infusion chairs with 6 private rooms
* No bone biopsies are performed in clinic done by interventional radiologists

When on-call typically block 1 hr of day to round on patients in hospital , small amount of inpatients
