Position Description
National Grid Renewables seeks a highly motivated Market Operations Manager to join our team.  The main responsibility of this role is to lead commercial operations activities across the portfolio, coordinate internally with commercial and operations teams, and externally with markets, customers, counterparties, and other third-party stake holders and service providers. The ideal candidate will have prior experience operating across energy markets in a power marketing environment, and be a reliable, dynamic, high-energy individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, is self-directed, can multi-task effectively, and contribute across multiple organizational functions including trading, structuring, market operations, risk management, plant operations, market fundamentals, data analytics, compliance, contracting and transmission.  Attention to detail, strong analytical, quantitative, energy transaction, technical understanding of market operations, effective verbal, written, and analysis communication skills, demonstrated problem-solving ability, strong business acumen, dependability, results-oriented, collaborative teammate, with a passion to learn, are pre-requisites to success in this role.
