Catholic Youth Missionary
We seek young adult Catholics, 20-29 years of age, who want to inspire the faith of thousands of youth as part of a missionary team. We believe more than ever that we need to equip young adults to lead young souls to Jesus and His Church. From mid August-mid May, SPIRITUS missionaries live in community by gender and travel to schools and parishes giving retreats and programs to Catholic youth in grades 2-12.
SPIRITUS is unique and offers missionaries:
- Ongoing one-on-one mentoring in ministry and the spiritual life
- Weekly days of formation given by area priests and bishops
- A spiritual director to meet with monthly
- A $3,000 stipend upon completion of the program
5. NO FUNDRAISING
6. Training to:
Create witness talks that inspire
Engage young Catholics and call them into the mission of Jesus
Disciple others into relationship with Jesus
Present spiritual programs and retreats in dynamic ways
Lead small groups that impact others
Build confidence in presenting the faith
SPIRITUS also provides lodging, food, a monthly allowance, health insurance. There is also opportunity for advancement after the first year. This is an awesome opportunity to serve our Lord in the New Evangelization and help young Catholics grow in faith.
