Global Director of Human Resources


Global Tulsa-based engineering & manufacturing company with plans to add a Director of Human Resources to the top executive team. This position will be the chief HR executive, reporting to the President/CEO/Owner of the company.


This leader will oversee a team of 10 people.


Job Duties:


• Develop organizational human resources strategies by identifying and researching HR issues, contributing information, analysis, and recommendations to the organization, strategic thinking and direction, and establishing human resources objectives in line with organizational objectives.
• Develop human resources operations' financial strategies by estimating, forecasting, and anticipating requirements, trends, and variances, and aligning financial resources.
• Develop HR-related action plans; measuring and analyzing results; initiating corrective actions; understanding and managing (or helping manage) variances.
• Envision, define, and execute special HR projects by identifying and clarifying issues and priorities; communicating and coordinating requirements; expediting completion; evaluating milestone accomplishments; evaluating recommended and optional courses of action; changing assumptions and direction.
• Support management by providing human resources analyses, advice, counsel, and implementation/support.
• Implement Global and U.S. human resources strategies.
• Establish department accountabilities.
• Oversee/implement global talent acquisition, staffing, employment processing, compensation, and benefits.
• Oversee/implement U.S. and global employee and career development including oversight of global training activities and initiatives.
• Oversee/direct records management, all HR-related compliance issues, and labor relations.
• Oversight of all global HR staff and operations.
• Oversight of, updates to, and compliance with the company's HR manuals and policies, both U.S. and global
• Compliance with Global, and U.S. federal, state, and local, HR regulatory requirements and employment law.
• Knowledge of existing and proposed regulations affecting HR compliance, and their practical effects on operations in the affected regions; advising management on needed actions.
• Staying current by participating in continuing education and staying abreast of professional publications
• Explore opportunities to add value ("think outside the box") while keeping HR requirements and regulations in view
