Position Overview:
We're seeking an Assistant Controller to oversee our accounting department, ensuring the accurate and timely delivery of financial statements and reports. In addition to managing day-to-day operations, you'll play a vital role in establishing and enforcing robust accounting processes, policies, and controls, while providing support to other members of the accounting team.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Lead timely month-end close procedures, including reviewing and updating reconciliations as needed
Support acquisition integration and purchase accounting initiatives
Foster international business growth and streamline related processes
Ensure compliance with state and local tax regulations, including timely filings and registrations
Assist with year-end audit activities, managing PBC lists and liaising with auditors
Develop and maintain accounting policies and processes
Mentor and develop staff, setting goals, providing training, and fostering strong team dynamics
Conduct ad hoc analysis and projects as required
Occasional domestic travel may be required for team and company meetings
Qualifications:

7+ years of progressive accounting experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
CPA license required; public accounting experience preferred
Strong communication skills
Experience in hiring, training, and supervising employees
Thorough knowledge of US GAAP, including ASC 606 and 842
Experience with international operations, acquisition integrations, and consolidations
Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.)
Experience with NetSuite preferred
Curiosity and inquisitive nature
