Job description
Seeking to hire a Primary Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work within a beautiful Nursing Home in Garland, TX.
You Will:
- Demonstrate competency in planning and preparing for the care of the elderly population.
- Managing all primary care related consults.
- Conduct routine check-ups to patients to assess their health condition and discover possible issues .
- Prescribe and interpret labs and diagnostic tests to obtain information for underlying infections or abnormalities.
- Prescribe medication and drugs.
- Reach an informed diagnosis based on medical knowledge and the patients medical history.
- Collaborate with Medical Directors and Registered Nurses to form a high-performing medical team.
- Cultivate a climate of trust and compassion for patients with patients, family members and the medical team.
Are you a fit?
- Possess a valid NP license in the state of Texas
- Board Certification
- Long term care experience needed
- Ok to work in a Nursing Home setting

Schedule:
- Full time
- Monday - Friday
- 8 Hour shifts
- No weekends
