Job description

St. Clair Country Club is searching for dedicated and responsible Lifeguards for our upcoming season!

25-30 hours a week, additional hours during after-hours parties/events

Our Team is committed to providing the highest quality Pool experience to its 870 members and their families and guests. The Pool operates seven days per week, from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The aquatic center offers a swimming pool, kids pool, snack shop and bar. In addition to a busy pool season, the club has a competitive swimming and diving team. Lifeguards are responsible for maintaining an enjoyable pool experience for all members and guests while keeping safety as top priority.

Qualified candidates should have:

• Lifeguard training and certification
• Excellent swimming skills
• Ability to maintain focus at all times
• Confidence to perform first aid and water rescue as necessary
• Enjoy communicating with Club members, children and employees

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Ensure safety of our members and guests
• Monitor pool activities and identify safety concerns
• Enforce pool rules and regulations
• Complete open and close activities
• Perform first aid as needed
• Perform basic cleaning of the pool and surrounding area
• Maintain supplies and restock as needed
• Assist with water quality testing and general pool maintenance
• Assist with special event's set ups and operations including DJ nights, swim meets, and after hours parties
• Perform all other work as assigned
