JOB TITLE

Java Application Developer

Job Duties

• Design, develop, deploy and test client server, web based and distributed software applications.

• Responsible for Objective Oriented Programming (OOP) like Inheritance, polymorphism, Abstraction and Encapsulation.

• Responsible for collections, Garbage collection and Exception Handling.

• Develop spring modules.

• Work with Web Services with WSDL, SOAP and REST.

• Perform using Presentation layer frameworks

• Work with different MVC Frameworks like Struts and ORM (Object Relational mapping tools) like JPA, HIBERNATE. Use of technologies like Oracle ADF and Adobe Flex.

• Implement design patterns like Singleton, Business Delegate, DAO.

• Develop J2EE applications by using the IDE’s such as Eclipse, Net Beans and Oracle JDeveloper 11g.

• Deploy applications using Web Servers like Apache Tomcat 5.5 and Application Servers like Web Logic 8.1/9.2, JBoss 4.2.2/5.1/6 and Web sphere 5.1/6.1/7.

• Usage of version controls such as SVN, Team Foundation Server and GitHub.

• Implement various business functionalities in the product development.

• Work on log4J implementation to persist the data into log files and experience with Ant, Jenkins and Maven for the build and deployment of applications.

• Work on all phases of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The technical skills required: Core Java, J2SE, J2EE, JDBC, JSP, Toad for JavaScript, JSP, JQuery, Flex Builder 4.5, Action Script,, Struts, Servlets, Spring Boot, IOC, Spring Data JPA, Spring MVC Framework 3.2, ADF Framework, Restful Web Services, Micro services, Hibernate, Oracle 11g, MySQL 5.5, Spring Tool Suite (IDE), Eclipse, Tomcat, JBOSS, Web logic Server, Docker, Maven, Jenkins, and GitHub, HTML, XHTML, CSS, JSTL, AngularJs.

Job Requirements

Required Bachelors or foreign equivalent in CS, CA, CIS, IT, MIS, Engineering (Any), or any related field. Must be able to travel/relocate to various client sites throughout the U.S.
