The SeniorIT Solution Consultant (Senior Consultant) is the primary lead for deliveringKelly Strategic Projects. The Senior Consultant provides the necessaryleadership, analysis and design tasks related to the development of technologysolutions to ensure that solutions meet business needs. The Senior Consultant possesses a deepunderstanding of business goals, objectives and business outcomes, businesscapabilities, value streams, and business processes.
How you will support the team…
IT/Business Relationship Management
Establish and maintain relationships with critical business and technology decision-makers.
Facilitate and drive alignment among critical stakeholders
Lead strategic partner on informationtechnology with Kelly’s business units:
Translates Business Strategy into Solutions Architecture
Understands business drivers and business capabilities (future and current state) and determines corresponding system designs and change requirements to drive the targeted business outcomes.
Translates business and technical requirements to achieve business objectives and works with Business Analysts and Development teams to ensure proper documentation of all solution design and analysis work.
Understands emerging technology trends and disruptions as well as the practical application of existing, new, and emerging technologies to enable new and evolving business and operating models.
Analyzes the technology industry, competitors, and market trends, and determines their potential impact on the enterprise.
Leads Solutions Design and Analysis
Leads evaluation, design, and analysis for the implementation of solutions across a group of specific business applications or technologies based on business strategy, business capabilities, value-streams, business requirements and enterprise standards.
Partners with software vendors to understand and leverage best practice solution design.
Facilitates and Collaborates to Deliver Business Outcomes
Work with key stakeholders to make frequent,dynamic prioritization
Works closely with IT Leadership to ensure the execution of plans corresponds with what is being promised throughout the project or product lifecycle
Work within the budget established in consultation with IT leadership. Balance resources product teams with the resources they need to deliver and maintain the product
Manages individuals or teams for the delivery of packaged software implementations or development of custom software solutions.
Provides consulting support to team members to ensure the project is aligned with the overall digital transformation strategy
Involve business process management professionals to optimize work processes by rethinking, simplifying, and redesigning them.
The ability to build teams, balance team and individual responsibilities, and achieve goals through others not directly under the leader’s supervision.
Ability to assess the value and risk of existing, new, and emerging technologies against new business designs and business models to achieve targeted business outcomes.
Strong analytical and conceptual skills; ability to create original concepts and theories for a variety of projects
Good understanding of strategic and emerging technology trends, and the practical application of existing and emerging technologies to new and evolving business and operating models
Understanding and knowledge of system development life cycle methodologies (such as waterfall, agile software development and DevOps)
Organizationally savvy, with the ability tonavigate organizational politics.
Skilled at influencing, guiding, andfacilitating stakeholders and peers with decision making.
Ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences
Ability to understand the long-term ("big picture") and short-term perspectives of situations
Ability to translate future-state business capabilities and requirements into solution architecture requirements
Ability to work creatively and analytically to solve business problems and propose solutions
Ability to quickly comprehend the functions and capabilities of new technologies
Does thissound like you?
Bachelors’ Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred.
10 - 15 years of experience working as an I.T. Business Analyst, Solution Architect, Project Manager and/or Applications Manager, and/or Business Development/Relationship Manager
Experience developing and monitoring delivery of efficient and effective solutions to diverse and complex business problems.
Experience integrating custom and packageproducts across complex enterprise environments
3-5 years of business stakeholder/champion management experience working with a cross-functional team of digital workplace application leaders
Proven ability to manage rapidly changing business priorities, processes, or technologies
Travel up to 10%
