Job description
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Part-Time Infusion Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care during infusion therapy sessions. If you have experience in IV medication administration and enjoy working in a supportive environment, we encourage you to apply. This position provides general nursing care to patients while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer IV medications and monitor patients during infusion therapy.
- Document patient assessments, vital signs, and treatment progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Complete timely and accurate clinical notes.
- Provide education to patients and their care givers.
Requirements
- Valid RN or LPN license.
- Proficient in placing peripheral IV's
-Minimum 1 year of infusion therapy experience.
- Knowledge of IV medications and protocols.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
