Position Summary The Clinical Social Worker reports to the Lead Clinical Social Worker and is a member of the sites leadership team.  The role will monitor and ensure the safety and overall well-being of clients and families served, make both formal and informal assessments of clients served to develop a permanency plan to ensure timely permanency is achieved.

Education/Experience:
Master's degree or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master's degree in social work with clinical experience in the program OR masters degree in psychology, sociology, or other relevant behavioral science degree in which direct clinical experience is a program requirement OR bachelors degree plus 5 years clinical employment experience AND Must be licensed or eligible for licensure. Note: If you are at a Masters level and eligible to be licensed (regardless of if you choose to), you will meet the expectations.  For this waiver, you must have all documentation showing that you became eligible. 

Language Ability:
Bilingual in Spanish required.
Read, analyze and interpret business, professional, technical or governmental documents. Write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, customers and the public.

Mathematical Ability:
Calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw valid conclusions. Interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

Computer Skills:
Proficiency in general office software including MS Word, MS Excel, and MS Outlook

Certificates and Licenses:
Licensed or eligible for license required.  If the candidate doesnt meet the Key Personnel Minimum Qualifications Checklist and Attestation for licensure, the Clinical Supervisor will need to request a Waiver Request and Justification and Proposed Training and Supervision Plan.

Supervisory Responsibilities Manages subordinates, Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.  Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
