Senior Scientist
South San Francisco, CA- 100% Onsite

Project Description:
We are looking for a motivated and highly skilled bench scientist to join the Discovery Oncology team at *** Research labs, located at our South San Francisco, CA facility. The selected candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for novel oncology drug discovery projects. The successful candidate should possess strong technical skills (experimental design, execution, analysis, and troubleshooting)
90% bench role, 10% data analysis

Required Skills:

• BS degree with 5+ years of relevant experience; or MS degree with 3+ years or PHD with 1 year of relevant experience within laboratory and industry
• Candidate must have strong technical skills in mammalian cell culture, and cell-based assay development using cell lines and primary cells.
• Candidate must be competent with data analysis and reporting tools such as GraphPad Prism(Preferred), FlowJo, MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint. Electronic lab notebook
• Able to work independently, have excellent communication skills, eager to learn, positive attitude and excel in a highly collaborative cross-functional team environment.
• Required to meet timelines.

Preferred Skills:

• Degree in Cancer Biology, Cell Biology, Genetics, Pharmacology, Immunology, or a related scientific discipline.
• Candidate should have diverse laboratory experience which includes, but is not limited to, molecular biology, flow cytometry, and/or immunological-based assays (e.g. MSD, ELISA, WB).
• Working with Human/primate tissue and blood is nice to have.
• Experience with antibody drug conjugates(ADC) preferred.
• Quantitative flow cytometry is preferred.
• Antibody Internalization Assays is preferred.
