The Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium ( OSGC ) at Oregon State University is seeking a Program Manager. This is a full-time (1.0 FTE ), 12-month, professional faculty position.

Oregon State University serves as the lead institution for the National Aeronautics and Space Administration ( NASA ) National Space Grant College and Fellowship Program (Space Grant). The Oregon NASA Space Grant Consortium ( OSGC ) is one of 52 jurisdictions nationwide contributing to NASA's next generation workforce. OSGC consists of 19 affiliate members representing universities, community colleges, and informal education institutions across Oregon. Member institutions are engaged in space science and aerospace education, research, and public outreach.

The consortium's mission is to support students and faculty in science, technology, engineering and mathematics ( STEM ) disciplines by providing unique learning and research opportunities through access to NASA content, facilities, people, and resources. OSGC sits in the OSU College of Science with budgetary oversight from the Research Office and reports programmatic impact and outcomes to NASA Office of STEM Engagement.

OSGC staff centrally administers 10 statewide programs. The purpose of this position is to provide support to the Director and the Consortium in areas of programmatic development, implementation, and oversight, as well as assisting with budget implementation and data collection for reporting.

Minimum Qualifications (Staff) / Guidelines (Faculty):

Typically requires Bachelor's Degree and professional experience in field related to assigned responsibilities.

This position is designated as a critical or security-sensitive position; therefore, the incumbent must successfully complete a criminal history check and be determined to be position qualified as per University Standard: 05-010 et seq. Incumbents are required to self-report convictions and those in youth programs may have additional criminal history checks every 24 months.

Type:

This is a 1.0 FTE position, located in the OSGC offices at Kidder Hall on the OSU Corvallis campus. Position can be hybrid as needed. Travel for Space Grant meetings and conferences is expected with a minimum 4 times per year and additional travel as needed.

Additional Salary Information: $51,072-$86,904
