Job description
Job Summary:
Bristol Toyota, a leading automotive dealership in Swansea, Massachusetts, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join our sales team. As a Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managing the automotive finance department and ensuring the profitability of our dealership by assisting customers with financing options and completing accurate and timely paperwork. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary and benefits package.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the finance department and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
- Develop and maintain relationships with financial institutions to secure financing options for customers
- Assist customers with financing applications and provide information on various financing and leasing options
- Close sales by explaining financing options, preparing and reviewing contracts, and obtaining necessary paperwork
- Accurately complete all required paperwork, such as loan and lease contracts, DMV paperwork, and title processing
- Work with sales team to ensure proper disclosure and accuracy of all vehicle deals
- Train and mentor sales team on proper finance procedures and regulations
- Continuously monitor and analyze the dealership's finance performance and make recommendations for improvement
- Serve as a liaison between customers, financial institutions, and the dealership to resolve any financing issues or discrepancies
- Keep up-to-date on industry trends and regulations related to automotive financing
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field preferred
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as a Finance Manager in the automotive industry
- Strong knowledge of financing and leasing options for automotive sales
- Proficiency in dealership software systems (Reynolds and Reynolds, RouteOne, Darwin menu system)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of state and federal financing regulations
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
