Seeking a dedicated Licensed/Registered Occupational Therapist for a full-time position in Madison, Alabama clinic. Evaluate and enhance daily living and educational skills of children with diverse conditions. Monday - Thursday, 9:00 - 6:00, and Friday, 8:00 - 5:00. Provide client-centered services to empower children for improved performance at school, home, and in the community. Must have a passion for children and a desire to be part of a supportive work environment.

Expectations:
- Evaluate, identify, and meet children's goals and needs.
- Offer cost-effective treatments that help improve clients' functional ability to complete self-care tasks, participation in social settings, and ability to complete age-appropriate activities.
- Develop pediatric care plans using a variety of treatment techniques.
- Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care and proven interventions.
- Promote children's independence by improving core and UE strength, fine motor skills, sensory integration/ processing, visual motor coordination, etc.
- Consult and practice with other health professionals.
- Evaluate effects and monitor and communicate progress.
- Document patient care services.
- Supervision of COTAs.
Qualifications:
- Proven working experience as an occupational therapist.
- Excellent knowledge of principles and practices of occupational therapy.
- Professional behavior.
- Hands-on experience with computer programs and creative media.
- Familiarity with ADLs evaluation tools.
- Ability to manage patients with different types of personalities and behaviors.
- Current knowledge of treatment practices per discipline and drive to continually learn and grow in the profession.
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- A master's degree or greater in occupational therapy is required.
- Valid license to practice occupational therapy or be in the process of obtaining a license.
- Professional behavior.
- Possesses expertise in utilizing Google Suite products professionally.
