Job description
We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking individual to join our team as a Porter at Jones Honda in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. This is a part-time, hourly position in the auto industry. As a Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our dealership, assisting with vehicle inventory, and providing exceptional customer service.
Compensation & Benefits:
This is a part-time, hourly position with a competitive wage. In addition, discounted employee pricing on car and service purchases may be available.
Responsibilities:
- Parks Vehicles in accordance with policy and under direction of Service department.
- Maintain cleanliness of the customer waiting area and restock all supplies.
- Assist Sales and Service staff in moving vehicles to ensure efficient dealership operation.
- Provide outstanding customer service to all dealership visitors and keep the customers updated on the status of their vehicles.
- Support the Service Advisors in any necessary tasks to keep the service lane flowing smoothly.
- May pick-up or deliver customers as requested using dealership vehicles.
- Always follow safety protocols to maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Help to ensure the overall appearance of the dealership is always presentable and professional.
- Assist with car washes, deliveries and any other tasks as needed.
Requirements:
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry, a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to meet company's production and quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
