Job Summary
We are seeking a Construction Project Manager Professional.
Job Description
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate construction project from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget
- Oversees company’s construction site, general contractors to ensure a high level of quality and safety
- Review and Approve Safe Work Permits
- Hold a Production Meeting Daily, Coordinate site activities with Prime Contractor's Site Superintendent
- Ensures that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices
- Ensure quality workmanship and quality inspections are conducted. Retain and maintain a file of test and inspection reports
- Identify, mitigate, and track construction issues
- Adhere to legal regulations, building and safety codes, and other requirements
- Conduct and document quality assurance and safety inspections throughout the construction process, ensuring that the work environment is acceptable and that tools and equipment are in good working condition
- Maintain and update SOW and construction documents, and meet contract obligations by developing relationships with reliable contractors and vendors
- Acquire equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies
- Plan all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met
- Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
- Obtain permits and licenses from appropriate authorities/agencies
- Conduct Pre-Start up inspections and maintain Pre-Start-up Checklists
- Reports the status of projects to Management
Skills Required
- Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilities (pipeline experience a plus)
- Knowledge of construction methods and technologies and an ability to interpret technical drawings and contracts
- Knowledge of building-code requirements and scheduling methods
- 5+ years of industrial construction experience required.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with an eye for quality
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Civil, Mechanical and Electrical Construction, including utilities (pipeline experience a plus)
Education/Training/Certifications
- Construction Safety Practices and OSHA regulations (30 Hour OSHA Training)
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in engineering or related field
Additional Requirements
- More than 5 years of civil construction experience,
- Must be able to ready P&IDs, construction drawings, BOM.
- Oil and Gas experience is a plus.
Pay Rate/Salary
- Starting at $100.00/hr and more depending on experience
