Job Summary:
Ground Works Land Design is looking for a Landscape Foreman to join our growing team. As the Landscape Foreman, one will be responsible for effectively communicating with clients when in the field, overseeing a crew of workers and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Supervisory Responsibilities:
Oversee a crew size or 3-5 members
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Has a basic knowledge of plants, horticulture pruning, lawn and landscape bed maintenance, spring and fall clean up
- Proficiently operate a variety of landscaping and construction equipment
- Communicate with clients when necessary and address customer concerns
- Effectively communicates client needs to the Account Manager
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment, work site and maintains equipment
- Train crew members to properly use equipment and perform job duties to the Ground Works Land Design standard.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
Educations and Experience:
- Valid Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Able to work successfully with limited supervision
- Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is a plus
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in landscape and grounds keeping
- High attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
Physical Requirements:
- Able to lift more than 20 lbs.
- Able to crouch, bend, climb stairs/ladders for periods of time
- Able to stand for long periods of time
