The Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) provides routine nursing care in a manner conducive in the comfort and safety of clients as detailed in Christian Care Centers, Inc., Nursing home established policies and procedures, and is delegated the responsibility for carrying out the assigned duties by the Director of Nursing or Administrator to assure that the highest degree of quality client care can be maintained at all times. The LVN will have received a degree from an accredited nursing program, college or university, will have taken courses in nursing management or supervision and in rehabilitative and restorative nursing, and will have at least a year of experience working in a hospital, long term care facility, or other health care institution, with training or experience implementing total patient care and care planning, and in making sound nursing judgments.
