Position Description:A research intern is needed to conduct cutting-edge research focused on the molecular mechanisms of obesity and cancer. The candidate will assist in performing experiments in cultured cells and mice using molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques. This appointment is for a limited duration, anticipated length of one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year. This position is designed for individuals who:
Position Responsibilities:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in a biomedical related science or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience in a molecular and cell biology related field. Minimum 3.2 GPA
Required Qualifications:
Previous working experience in a biomedical laboratory with hands-on research is required.
