The Workers Compensation/UE Specialist is responsible for working with injured employees, managers and care teams to facilitate a fast and safe return to work, whether back to the employee’s original position or in a modified duty position. Reports claims and updates to the TPA for proper claims handling in accordance with applicable laws. Completes and maintains all OSHA documentation for the network as required for year-end reporting.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

PHYSICAL AND SENSORY REQUIREMENTS:

Requires sitting for up to eight hours per day, one to two hours at a time. Standing for up to one to two hours per day. Must have the ability to hear as it relates to normal conversation, seeing as it relates to general, peripheral and near vision, visual monotony.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma required. Bachelor's degree preferred.

TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE:

A minimum of 1-2 years of Pennsylvania Workers’ Compensation experience with direct adjudication, supervision, and administration of workers’ compensation claims with an insurance company, TPA or self-insured company.
