Senior Attorney: Civil Litigation

Job description

We are seeking a civil litigation attorney. 

We are actively interviewing candidates who can prosecute cases in state and federal court with a minimum of 10 years of litigation experience.

We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver, and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

The attorney’s primary role will be to litigate from inception through trial.  Expect to have a full-time equivalent of one legal secretary/paralegal to help you.

Duties include:

• drafting and reviewing complaints
• drafting and reviewing responsive pleadings
• discovery and related litigation
• appearing for hearings/depositions
• keeping clients happy by regularly communicating with them
