Automation & Controls Maintenance Technician
$30-$40/HR
1st & 2nd shift

Description:
Looking for a Controls Maintenance Technician. This person will need an industrial maintenance with experience with Controls and/or Automation.
-Repair and maintain equipment using the industry standards and collaborating with other departments as needed
-Work with other departments to ensure repairs are completed on timely basis
-Completely & correctly complete all required documents for Production and the department
They would need to be comfortable working with low (24VDC) and high voltage (up to 480V) circuits. Ability to troubleshoot control circuit issues, perform circuit wiring and understand logic process. Knowledge with install, troubleshooting and some programming of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs and experience with robotics is preferred. Understanding on inverter motor operations as well as stepper and servo motors, and encoder feedback as it relates control process.
Help to build the PM procedures for all automation equipment, help to build spare parts inventory for all automation equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Five years previous Maintenance Technician, two years Controls/Automation Technician experience or completed Controls/Automation degree and industrial maintenance experience.
-Ability to manage time and workload efficiently and independently
-Highly proficient at electrical troubleshooting and logic processes
-High level understanding of automation processes and design
-Maintenance activities are conducted in a food safety certified environment so previous food experience is strongly preferred.
-Have strong knowledge of automation software ( RSLogix, CCW, Factory Talk ME and others)
