The Hospital Surgical Technologist will be responsible for assisting surgeons in the operating room. They must be knowledgeable of human anatomy and they should pay attention to detail and remain vigilant by keeping strict  sterile techniques. The Surgical Tech must remain calm and composed in stressful situations and provide top quality care. The Surgical Technologist  for Surgical Services must stay up to date on education, making sure all hospital and unit based competencies are met.

Educational requirements for this position include Certified Surgical Technologist and BLS.
