Role and Responsibilities:
 
We are seeking a Materials Management Specialist to support our Texas City plant. This position requires 20% - 25% domestic travel during the first year for training and to support Air Products Global Materials Management Organization. Once the plant has been stabilized and processes are in place this will be a plant support role with minimal travel.

Reporting to the Maintenance Superintendent, the Materials Management Specialist is responsible for the warehouse spare materials, shipping/receiving of goods and accountable for inventory preservation supporting the Texas City, TX maintenance organization. The incumbent embraces the planning, scheduling, and monitoring of those materials from the consumption, re-ordering, tracking, refurbishment, and re-stocking.

The Materials Management Specialist will constantly interface with all site personnel, equipment suppliers, engineering, and functional support services.
