Job description
We have an exciting new opening for a Product Manager, SEMI Dry Pumps, Medium Duty Applications to join our Semiconductor divisional team.
Role Overview: As a Product Manager you will be responsible for the lifecycle management of the current SEMI dry pumps on the Medium-duty applications to deliver customer-specific values on maximised returns to Edwards in monetary and strategic terms. In this role, you will have the ownership of one or more SEMI dry pumps from introduction to OFM (Obsolete from Manufacturing) and will drive the product transition plans to provide seamless Edwards product values.
To achieve this, you will need to work closely with teams in Division, Regional Customer Centre and Product Companies to engage the organisation's strategy and product support plan.
Key Responsibilities: - Be a specialised Product Manager on the SEMI medium-duty applications, ensuring that the assigned product's value propositions are kept maintained in the target market.
- Responsible for one or more SEMI dry pumps in production for delivering, iGX, iXM series and future dry pump family, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap and strategy for the SEMI medium-duty markets.
- Collaborate with divisional and regional teams, including OEM teams, to identify, evaluate, and materialise the customers' and applications' requirements to keep serving the target market.
- Collaborate with teams at Product Companies to support customer issues of the responsible products and maximise product profitability by identifying and evaluating product improvement opportunities in line with the Permit, Engineering Change and Copy Exact processes.
- Support regional teams and the division marketing with product transition plans from legacy to new products to support the achievement of goals.
- Work with VSS Product Management team and Global Applications Team to support TCOO (Total Cost of Ownership) model development and maintenance
- Conduct research and analysis of competitors' products.
- Elaborate and assist in the creation and maintenance of marketing materials of the responsible products for publication internally and externally
- Accountable for the SAP Material master data ensuring product costing are correct and aligned.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in physical, chemical sciences, or other equivalent engineering disciplines
- Relevant experience in the SEMI/DSL industry. Etch application experience would be beneficial.
- Keen to develop a career path in business management or marketing roles with product management skills. Business training is desirable but not essential
- Pumps or Integrated Systems experiences are highly desirable
- Demonstrated good ability to work confidently and effectively with data and to present analysis results clearly
- Familiarity with engineering organisation practices, disciplines, systems and software tools an advantage. Edwards Engineering Change and SAP knowledge would be a benefit.
- Able to demonstrate good organisational, time management and personal management skills - Self-reliance and ability to take initiative
