Responsibilities
- Adhere to Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws, policies, and departmental protocols.
- Consistently provide exceptional, polite, and professional guest service to guests, visitors, vendors, and colleagues.
- Devise and execute a robust financial organizational strategy for the property, collaborating with the VP of Finance to set objectives for future growth.
- Perform comprehensive financial analysis to produce detailed monthly and periodic reports forecasting corporate financial activity based on historical, current, and projected operations.
- Uphold managerial excellence across all Finance Department functions.
- Ensure the accuracy and reliability of all financial data generated by the department.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and retain team members who consistently demonstrate excellence in business operations and guest service.
- Maintain knowledge of GAAP standards and oversee timely financial report completion in accordance with these standards.
- Collaborate with VP of Finance, Directors, and Managers to develop annual budgets encompassing capital expenditures, revenue, labor control, and budget forecasts.
- Verify the accuracy of daily financial reports.
- Oversee property cash and credit accounts.
- Analyze financial performance results.
- Implement production standards, goals, and departmental policies to enhance Finance Department efficiency.
- Conduct pre- and post-analysis of activities, costs, and operations to evaluate the success of individual events and initiatives.
Candidate Requirements
- Lead, direct, and coordinate all financial and accounting functions for the property.
- Accountability and responsibility for overseeing the Finance Department's overall performance and operations, which encompass Financial Accounting, Revenue Audit, Purchasing, Count Team, Payroll, Financial Analysis, and Cage operations.
