Bio-Informatics Intern:

The Biological and Chemical Technologies Group is looking for summer interns to be part of a team of researchers working on projects to develop algorithms and automated pipelines to ingest, organize, and analyze bioinformatic data. The successful candidate will work closely with experts in computer science, bio-informatics, data analytics, machine learning, and database management.

Requirements

Pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in computer science, bio-informatics, biology, mathematics or related field is required. Experience with statistical methods, critical data analysis and/or the ability to draw robust conclusions strongly preferred. Demonstrated excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and graphical) are highly desired.

Selected candidate will be subject to a pre-employment background investigation and must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret level DoD security clearance.
