Job Location: Midtown, New York ( Hybrid) Job Type: Full time
Pay rate: $120,000 - $140,000 per year.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm, Hybrid. No nights! No weekends or holidays! Travel: This position requires traveling to various sites in Metro NY area and occasionally to other states. Full Description
VitalCheck Wellness is looking for a dedicated, patient-focused Nursing Manager to lead our nursing practice and oversee our Covid and Flu Vaccine Clinics. The Nursing Manager will also train & supervise clinical staff including RNs, LPNs and MAs. The Nursing Manager is responsible for developing processes for the delivery of clinical care and improving clinical quality and meeting regulatory requirements and business goals. If you're a licensed professional with hands-on experience in ICU, ER, and/or vaccine pop-ups and cold chain management as well as strong supervising experience, we'd love to hear from you. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead organization's nursing functionto maintain efficient clinic operations.
- Develop clinical process and standard for our health centers and pop-up clinics.
- Lead occupational health program and train staff on drug test, BAT, etc
- Oversee daily operations of Covid and Flu vaccine clinics nationwide during vaccine season.
- Train and guide staff on the latest vaccine protocols, patient management practices, and cold chain management.
- Visit and guide clinics in Metro NYC and New Jersey area.
- Administer flu and covid vaccines at various clinics as needed.
- Direct and supervise medical, nursing, and support staff to ensure high-quality patient care.
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal health regulations.
- Train and supervise Patient Care Coordinators at Wellness Clinics.
- Monitor patient feedback and use it to improve our service quality.
- Support the recruitment process of vaccination staff.
- Train staff on other clinical and healthcare topics and skills.
Requirements:
- Licensed Registered Nurse in New York and New Jersey.
- Minimum of 5-7 years' nursing experience.
- Minimum 1 year of Occupational Health experience.
- Proven experience in ICU, ER, and/or Vaccine Pop-Up Clinics.
- At least 3 years of experience as a charge nurse.
- Experience with cold chain management required.
- Phlebotomy experience required.
- Experience with BAT (Breath Alcohol Test), Drug Test, Respirator Fit Testing would be a plus.
- Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in managing healthcare records and databases.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment while maintaining a calm and professional demeanor.
- Must be up to date with Covid-19 Vaccine and other vaccines.
- Must be able to reliably commute to NYC office and clinical sites.
