ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Exhibit conduct in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations, Federal and State laws and regulations, and Golden Nugget and departmental policies and procedures.
- Consistently deliver positive, courteous and professional guest service in all interactions with guests, visitors, vendors and fellow employees.
- Demonstrate a commitment to ensuring responsible gaming and responsible alcohol service.
- Patrol hotel, casino and perimeter areas as assigned by supervisor.
- Acts as escort for transfer of money and chips.
- Assists guest with illnesses, injuries, and information.
- Stands posts for extended times as assigned.
- Issues temporary access badges.
- Insures protection and security of company assets.
- Monitors employee’s activities throughout the hotel/casino complex to maintain rules and regulations.
- Adheres to established hotel/casino policies, Casino Control Commission and Division of Gaming Enforcement regulations.
- Reacts and assists on a timely basis to all emergency situations.
- Responsible for the safety and welfare of all guests and employees in the event of an emergency.
- Responsible for maintaining order and keeping the peace in the hotel/casino.
- Must be certified in CPR and AED.
- Must be able to complete physical control and restraint class, including chemical spray use.
- Writes investigation and incident reports when assigned.
- Performs other duties as assigned by a supervisor, manager or director.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/SKILLS REQUIRED: High school diploma preferred. Previous experience in hotel/casino security helpful. CPR certified preferred. Good communication skills. Must possess or be able to obtain Casino Employee Registration license.
