Job description
Control Risks is seeking in Intelligence Analyst to support a Fortune 500 client of ours. This role will be a part of a growing Intelligence program within our client’s GSOC and will be responsible for monitoring all domestic issues that could affect the client’s assets, offices, and manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Proactively identify, monitor, research, analyze and provide warnings regarding emerging domestic threats and trends in the client’s region of focus that may impact the Client's security planning and potentially impact the stability of its operations.
- Detect and provide rapid assessments of “breaking” security situations as needed.
- Sifting and synthesize events to provide critical analysis around issues germane to the Client’s footprint and risk profile (predominantly US-focused).
- Analyze large sets of data to enable risk-based decision making around national events.
- Identify and develop resources for threat information, including internet, databases, public records, media, law enforcement, government sources, contracted services and other related resources.
- Utilize OSINT research methodology for real-time situational awareness and analysis.
- Provide reports or briefings on strategic or specific security issues as directed by the Client.
- Develop and maintain appropriate industry-related relationships relevant to the collection, evaluation, and distribution of security information.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in history, political science, intelligence analysis, criminal justice, or a related discipline.
- 1-3 years of experience in intelligence, travel security, protective intelligence, security analysis, threat management, risk management or a related field.
- Proven ability to accurately draw conclusions by synthesizing raw data and information from multiple, unrelated sources into a finished comprehensive product.
- Experience with OSINT methodology.
- Experience working with Everbridge platform.
- Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills.
- Ability to perform under pressure and respond rapidly to breaking situations within tight timelines.
- Excellent research, analytical, writing, and verbal presentation skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with others to collect, evaluate and organize pertinent facts and employ multi-disciplinary analysis both with and without systems support.
